Snow Day = Writing Day • My mom got me in the habit of writing on snow days during my K-12 years, and the habit still serves me well now. Grad school has kept me off of my blog for a while, but I hope to return soon with some of my new reflections. (Don’t judge how many tabs I have open!)
A professor of mine recently asked me, “Oh, so you’re interested in adopted children . . . but who happen to be adults?” SURPRISE! Adopted children become adults — if only there was a word to describe this phenomenon! 🤔 Oh wait, there is! Let’s normalize using the word adoptee to describe adopted people of all ages!
@thisisbethany, this is what we mean when we talk about adoption agency coercion.
